Korean Drama
Korean Dramas have risen in popularity around the world. Many jaded
movie and TV watchers have found a simplicity and freshness in Korean
dramatic series. When a Korean series is filmed, there is a definite
end point which is missing in most western drama series that run until
viewership or ratings decline. The story has a beginning and an end,
and is told in a set number of episodes. Korean dramas are story and
character driven rather than "western" overloaded cinematic effects
that totally overpower the characters and plot.
