The most commonly used mushrooms in Korean cuisine are the fragrant pine (songi) mushrooms, oyster (neutari) mushrooms, wood ear (mogi) mushrooms (very dark and thin, used mostly in Chinese and Korean cuisine), enoki (paengi) mushrooms, coral (ssari) mushrooms, and shiitake (pyogo) mushrooms.
