Love Education in ASEAN Countries

Today scientists note that mostly three major factors affect the love education: society, government, and family. Asian people believe that the lack of the right approach to the issue of love education always leads to the death of morality, culture, and personality. And on a large-scale, this will lead to the death of a nation, and even a country.

Most often, love education in Asia focuses on training and educating people on how to live in society. Usually, it resembles a combination of skills and knowledge that, in the final result, must create an educated and healthy society. The basis of this term is “love.” But the point is not only in the romantic relationship between partners. Love education also includes the connection of the individual with his or her country, family, and the whole nation. The main idea of this education is to teach people to love others.

Different countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations have different approaches to love education. This is primarily due to the differences between the cultures of those counties. This association consists of 10 countries, and, as you know, each country has its cultural peculiarities. Some countries have a high crime rate both among youth and adults. This is primarily due to the general increase in aggressiveness and cruelty in society. This allows us to conclude that love education in these countries is either completely absent or at an underdeveloped level. But on the other hand, their national traditions made them very tolerant and respectful, so most citizens of these countries without aggression accept representatives of various sexual minorities. Also, they are very tolerant of other people’s views and beliefs. In turn, this clearly shows the level of development of the love education of individuals and helps a great deal in dating after a breakup.

In many countries of this political association, families prioritize wealth. Physical dominates over the spiritual. As a result, a person grows with distorted ideas and views on this life. First of all, they tend to misinterpret ideas about kindness, generosity, mercy, justice, citizenship, and patriotism. More and more people are characterized by emotional, volitional, spiritual, and social immaturity. As you may have guessed, the lack of a centralized love education is the main reason for this problem.

Traditionally, Asians believe that love education should begin with love for the child. They try to teach their children to be responsible, kind, and gentle with their surroundings. Also, due to pure economic conditions, children often work together with their partners, and this has both bad and good consequences. First of all, by working at home and taking care of the household, children learn to respect their parent’s efforts. Secondly, they obtain useful skills that will come in handy in the future. Unfortunately, this also leads to the fact that children in Asia often have a very short childhood. Also, in ASEAN Countries, it is considered normal when the elders help to look after the younger ones.

Most of ASEAN Countries traditionally avoid any developmental activities with children in the first years of their lives. Mostly this happens because parents simply have no time for this. So, as a result, children watch how their parents act and strive to copy their actions. Also, people very rarely are overprotective of their children. Thus, they don’t really care too much when their children fall, get scratches or bruises. Of course, they always help their children to deal with those situations, but they never pay too much attention to those situations.
